carlsson-ck63s-mercedes-benz-c-63-amg

This tuning package is for someone who believes a paper tiger is the competition clincher. Someone who doesn’t live his life in the real world. Someone who assumes more power is more speed and more fun than anything else. Someone who’d agree that a racetrack had to do away with corners and bends all together.

Carlsson Autotechnik introduces the CK63S based on the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG. Let’s jump straight to the core argument of this tuning program

Could possibly be the worst Mercedes Benz to drive?

Motoring journalists across the world agree C 63 AMG is not made for corners. Jeremy Clarkson drove the C63 AMG on Top Gear and gave this Mercedes Benz a poor rating. It was overpowered and struggled to get all of it down on the road.

Carlsson unfortunately makes it worse by increasing the 6.3-liter V8 engine’s power by 108 hp to 565 hp. The maximum torque has been bumped to 685 Nm from the standard 600 Nm.

But how the Carlsson CK63S goes from zero to 60mph in 3.8 seconds, almost a second faster than the stock car is perplexing.

Recession Special BMW X3 xDrive 18d unleashed

The BMW X3 xDrive 18d conveys a 1.8-liter diesel engine in a BMW X3. The truth is there’s a 2.0-liter turbo diesel under the hood of this new and economical BMW X3 xDrive 18d. If there’s one X3 that should make it to India soon, then this definitely is that one.

Indians are concerned about fuel economy, irrespective of what they drive or how much it costs. BMW knows that very well.

Interesting, as only last month did BMW introduce a Sport limited edition X3. This new version though, can be dubbed as the recession-inspired X3. It isn’t different to look at, but the economy figures speak of what this car’s meant to do. The BMW X3 has the reputation of the most reliable vehicle in Germany.

It’s a shame that I can’t play the Official Volkswagen Polo racing game as I don’t have with me an iPhone or iPod Touch.

These days car makers capitalize on the interests video games create amongst youngsters. They use this space for marketing their products by introducing a game revolving around their newest product. If the game is a hit, they give out a press release and run around boasting about it.

But the case of the Official Volkswagen Polo racing game is far from what VW claims!

So far downloaded more than a million times VW claims, I read on several forums and sites that this game is no good. The controls it seems are vague and the frame rates suffer at certain points.

I have not had an opportunity to learn about this myself, so I would ask you to try it out and tell us if any of that is true.

Take the new VW Polo out on 8 different racing tracks and if possible, tell us about your experience on the comment box below.

Video- Hyundai Nuvis Concept explained

The Hyundai Nuvis concept was teased last week. It’s just another Hyundai concept, we thought. But that idea hasn’t persisted after viewing this video.

This eco-friendly Nuvis concept not uses recyclable material, but its aerodynamic design indicates its fuel efficient trait. The designers are young, quick and athletic, much like the car they have created.

The Nuvis concept is formed with the idea of wind flowing over shapes and the effects it gives rise to. It’s a 2-door gull-wing concept with plenty of attitude, shapes and lines. It has this blue interior accent that gives it a futuristic touch and the chick girl driving it around is another reason you should watch it.

The 2010 Mercedes Benz S-Class has been the topic of many stories on Indian Autos Blog in the recent months. Spy pictures and sources maintained this year’s version would be hardly be any different, changes would, and only be new headlights and bumpers. HOW WRONG!
