2010 Mercedes E63 AMG – Ready to take on BRABUS W212

We thought the BRABUS E-Class W212 sedan was insane. But in-house tuners of Mercedes, AMG has come up with its own definition of insane by revealing the 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG, which is essentially a Mercedes SL63 AMG (2009 F1 Safety Car) with four doors and a bigger boot.

Tuning – New Vorsteiner Body Kit for BMW M3 E90 Sedan

Vorsteiner is a specialist when it comes to tuning German cars. Having tuned the BMW E92 M3 (coupe), and offering custom exhausts, the company has now come up with a new lightweight aero kit for the E90 BMW M3 (sedan).

Skoda Superb Diesel variant to be launched soon

As reported earlier, Skoda India is ready to launch a diesel version of its New Superb later this year, followed by the new Laura. There still is dearth of information about the Superb Diesel, but the company has confirmed that it would be rolled out from its Chakan plant in Aurangabad, Maharshtra, with other upcoming models like upgaded Octavia, Crossover Yeti, Roomster MPV and Fabia estate.

Hyundai Nuvis concept teaser ahead of debut

Hyundai is in the news once again for a concept car. The i-series cars have struck the right chords, and the ix-onic concept proved to be a show stopper in Geneva last month. Recently, images of the Hyundai Blue-Will concept surfaced. The eco-friendly concept will debut during the Seoul Motor show which begins tomorrow.

Mahindra is riding the success wave with its newest product Xylo and hasn’t the slightest plan to slow down. Dr.Pawan Goenka, President of Mahindra Automotive Sector, who spoke exclusively to us during the Xylo launch, did not disclose the exact details of the forthcoming products but affirmed the Xylo’s platform would be give birth to a series of products.

Why hasn’t anyone thought about this idea? Fix a fan to the roof of the car and belt it to a generator. As the car accelerates, the fan spins, generating electricity. Sounds like a 5th grade science project.

But what one doesn’t understand is making an ultra-efficient fan that spins to the slightest push costs money. Next the fan has to generate enough force to drive the belt and the generator’s armature. The last factor is aerodynamic drag

Nice try BMW! Your story is well compiled, but due to the lack of quotes, diagrams, graphs or reactions your story wasn’t bought.

BMW’s April 1st story is outrageous science fiction. The company explains its technology employs a magnet in front of the car. When activated, it uses the car in front of it as the power source, as a magnet is attracted towards metallic objects.
