Another petrol engine, especially the awrd winning 2 litre TFSI engine generating 207 bhp ( available in the Audi A4 overseas) and possibly in the Golf VI GTI, would've been a great option. I expect the diesel engine, which is to be introduced at the end of the year, to have NVH levels comparable to that of the petrol engine. Otherwise, a noisy diesel doesn't quite fit with the profile of this car - this is a luxury car in India, as compared to Europe where potential buyers of BMWs and Mercs might not consider it.
