German auto major Audi recently issued a negative comment on the Nano’s journey to Europe. Audi claims the Nano would find it very difficult to travel European roads mainly due to the stringent EURO NCAP (European New Car Assesment Program) safety regulations and the upcoming emission norms.

Suzuki SX4 applies makeup in China

The Suzuki SX4 is sold in China as a crossover and sedan. To keep it looking fresh, Suzuki has carried out minor changes on the SX4, and the overall look and feel has not changed. The engine power and torque ratings have not been revised although the prices will be. The new Suzuki SX4 will be launched over the next few days.

Readers of the popular magazine Auto Motor und Sport, picked German tuner Brabus as their favorite making it the fourth consecutive victory for the tuner. Brabus was judged the ‘Best Brand’ in the ‘Tuners’ category winning the prize with 52.9 percent of the total votes.

Hyundai has for the past few years been quietly working on a hatchback that will be placed under the Santro to fulfill the growing needs of developing countries such as India. Autobild has re-created the car on a photo editor, and it doesn’t look all that bad.

Autocar UK reports the Tata Nano will be rolled out globally, as per Tata’s documents into which Autocar had peeped.

The Tata Nano sold overseas will have a better finish, safety features such as airbags and will have a bigger engine. The Tata Nano Europa which is presently the center of attraction at the Geneva Motor Show has a 3-cylinder engine. The ‘world Nano’ will have a similar engine with a sub-100 gram/km CO2 emission.

2009 Porsche 911 tuning program from Mansory

Porsche has often been on the front page of Indian Autos Blog, thanks to its tuners. Swiss tuners Mansory were featured today morning for their 955, and earlier last week for their Chopster, both based on the SUV Cayenne.

The Porsche 911 is an icon. But can it be transformed into something better in terms of spec, and even so, is it of any worth? Nothing’s stopped Mansory from giving it a go.
