Toyota HC-CV (Hybrid Camry Concept Vehicle) has been revealed by Toyota, and this form the base for what will be Australia’s first hybrid car. The car will debut at the Melbourne International Motor Show, which will commence shortly.

The next generation BMW 5 Series which is due next year, was spotted testing with camouflage which has worked brilliantly. None of the car’s design aspects is revealed, but we do know this car will be wider and longer compared to the present model.

Japanese automobile legend Toyota is getting aggressive ahead of its small car launch in India, scheduled for late next year. According to reports and sources Toyota has planned to bring in two engine choices with a 1.2 liter petrol and a 1.3 liter diesel engine.

Peugeot will kick off Indian operations with C5 and 307

Peugeot Motors intends to set up its manufacturing unit and re-start its operations in the Indian market. Peugeot’s entry has been delayed in the country due to the global credit crunch and economic crisis back home in Europe.

Renault might bring Sandero hatchback to India in 2010

The French carmaker, Renault in collaboration with Indian UV maker Mahindra is planning to launch the Sandero hatchback in the Indian market by the year 2010. The plan will help both companies to make use of the full capacity at the Nashik plant, as Logan sales are drowning in India.

Honda Plans To Raise Prices in India; Honda Jazz in mid-2009

Following General Motors, Honda is also planning to raise prices of its models and maintain slower production for the next six months, even as it keeps its plans for its small and much awaited Jazz, unchanged.
