We have just caught hold of a rendering of what possibly is the future iteration of the Chevrolet Aveo. The Aveo has not been a successful car by any means in India, and GM would be desperately hoping that the new model would change this. But before they put this model into the production line, they would be betting big on the diesel Aveo, which arrives in dealer showrooms later this year.

A day after we reported that GM is planning to launch new variants of Chevrolet Spark, GM has launched a special Edition of Chevrolet Spark, named as Spark Muzic.
As the name suggests, the Spark Muzic is launched to attract the young generation who are tight on budget and want a funky car with all the bells and whistles.
In an attempt to foster Hyundai’s brand image and to take the i20 sales success to the next level in Europe, the company will launch the versatile i20 three-door in the second quarter of 2009. The 3-door i20 will be the entry level hatchback for the i20 lineup, promising ayouthful and a sporty appeal. It will be made in India (at Hyundai’s Chennai Plant) and exported to the European market, the question is.. Will India get the 3-door i20? Will a 3-door Hatchback do any sales in the Indian Automotive sector ? Share your thoughts!
Ahead of its Geneva Motor Show launch, Hyundai has released a rendering of the HED-6, a new crossover SUV that, the automaker says, previews an “entirely new look to Hyundai’s SUV lineup.” The HED-6 Concept, which will preview the replacement for the Tucson SUV, is expected to be called the iX35 in Europe. This concept has been styled at the company’s European Design headquarters in Rüsselsheim, Germany.
Vath, the popular tuners who earlier tuned the Mercedes C200 Kompressor, have laid their hands on a car that is already insane to start with. Firstly, its a Mercedes SLK 55 which is already hugely powerful and for that extra bit of power, its an AMG supercharged V8. Now, you might be thinking possibly how Vath could improve on this. The best part is this car is available now in India, but the big question, is who would dare to install such a fierce package?
German cars tuned by Japanese? Sounds a bit awkward but that’s what Y-Factory of Japan have done, and what a job have they done! They have taken a full on German super saloon, the M5, and have made it into something that looks brilliant and should hum, sum, roar and sing.

The Mercedes Benz Golf Awards was a glamorous event which included a display of AMG cars and India’s well known models walking the ramp. The S65 AMG and the SL63 AMG were parked at the function.
Its raining new variants! We just reported that GM is planning to launch new variant of its spark, and interestingly, Skoda doesn’t want to be left behind.
Skoda is also planning to launch a total of three new variants of its hatchback Fabia, one of them will be a ‘Sports’ version for some ‘sporty’ feel. The sports edition will be named as Fabia Sportline that will come fully loaded with newly designed interiors and alloy wheels. Changes are not purely cosmetic, as the Fabia Sportline will have a 1800cc engine while other two variants will be 1200cc and 1600cc in engine capacity.

* Earlier last year, European customers got a sports pack for this car. The Skoda Fabia Sport had all the bits one could ask for in a sports hatch, except maybe a powerful engine.
* If you ask us for something like the “Fabia-from-hell,” then the Skoda Fabia S2000 should do the answering.
* If you are the eco-friendly type, and your bum pal is the coconut tree in your garden, you should consider the Skoda Fabia Blueline.
