A couple of Brazillian Car blogs have pointed out, and have got information from sources they believe are trustworthy, that the new Fiat Grande Punto will borrow a great deal of design elements from its elder sibling- the Fiat Bravo. Shown here is a rendering of how the future Fiat Punto might look. Clearly, the changes are confined to the front grille and the front bumper.

The new Suzuki Alto (Indian A-Star) is ready to go on sale in the UK from the 1st of March and from where else will the car be sourced? Official Images of Porsche Panamera Interior

NOTE- If you are a regular at Indian Autos Blog, then you would have seen the interior of the Porsche Panamera. Well, sort of, as it has been featured here not once, but twice.

Porsche has released a few images of Panamera’s interior. Complementing the exterior, the inside looks very elegant, sophisticated and functional. The center console features an array of infinite buttons that resembles a Blackberry !

The steering wheel has thumb shifters to select the ratio of the seven-speed PDK dual clutch gearbox. Backseats seem to look as comfy as the front counterparts. This we think, is the only Porsche that will be able to seat ‘Human Beings’ in the rear (leave alone the Cayenne for the moment).

The video tells us it is not only about functionality or taking it to the next level by misplacing the rear door handles. While the main emphasis was on efficient use of available space, the styling has been kept modern and striking as well. This has really given the car quite a lot of character.

Hyundai i20 debuts ahead of Geneva Motor Show

The i range from Hyundai gets a new addition. It cannot be called as an all new model but a variant of the present model – the three door version of the i20 hatchback and i have to admit that it looks good. Those curves on the side profile are bold and give it a distinct identity.

The Chevrolet Mini (for the Indian market) which was intended for release at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit last month (until internal issues struck GM), will be showcased in next month’s Geneva Motor Show. The Chevrolet Mini mules were spotted munching miles across the United States, most recent spotting was at the Rochester University campus in NY.

The ‘All American bike’ or rather ‘the ultimate cruiser maker’ Harley-Davidson had already announced plans to introduce its bikes in India and now we have some concrete reports. The Harleys are cruising into India by the end of this year! Yes, you heard that right.

The legendary marque is involved in talks with the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) in India, with regard to securing permission for setting up its retail outlets in the country. Also expected is an assembly unit for Harley motorcycles. If implemented, it would be its third overseas facility after Asian countrires Singapore and Thailand.

Prices will be north of 5 lakhs with prices ranging from 6-20 lakhs for the basic Sportster to the full on individually sustomisable models. The high prices are due to the import duties levied on Completely Built Units in India although prices could come down significantly if assembly operations start here.
