I drove the Nano here in Germany. We had minus 12 deg. After parking for 1 hour outside, the gas pedal got stuck. The steel wire line from the pedal was frozen. After i gave a strong force on the pedal the wire broke. It happened twice. We had to fix this in the workshop.

Another issue was that since Nano had not heating system, the glasses fogged after driving 5 minutes. I was forced to drive with open windows.

We also had to put a special battery for the ignition.

It was adventerous to drive Nano here in Germany under minus temperature and snow.

I hope there is more success on the Himalayas!

No one in India or Abroad has officially driven the Nano. Tata gave AutomabileMag a chance couple of months back to sit back while Tata enginess drives it. Please read more details about their feel of Tata Nano, their so called test drive, Photos at this site.
