Fast and the Furious 4- Trailer No.2

We have got the second trailer on Fast and Furious 4 which features most of the original cast from the first part of the movie. If the first trailer gave a taste of the things to come, this one featured hardcore driving scenes. All in all, we just cant wait for the movie which will be released on April 4.

Volvo has announced an all new Twin Turbo inline 5-cylinder diesel that not only makes 205bhp and 420Nm of twist but also returns 46.5 mpg (22kmpl) and a mere 164g/km of CO2 emissions! That makes it confirm to the Euro 5 standards. This engine displaces just 2.4 litres and will debut in the S80.

Hyundai’s boxy yet once best selling car, the Santro Xing, which was sidelined after their next gen hatchback ‘i10′ was launched, seems to be back in action.

The Hyundai Santro sales figures have risen to an extent that, Hyundai is now looking to generate almost equal numbers from both, the Santro and the ‘i10′, in 2009. This comes at a time when manufacturers are cutting production and processing pink slips to their staff.

HS Lheem, Managing Director, Hyundai Motor India, said, “The Santro is doing much better than our expectations. In 2009, we are looking at almost the same overall sales number as last year or around 2.3 lakh units. Of this, Santro and ‘i10′ are expected to contribute 85,000 units each.”

Is this the best form of advertising by a company which will release it’s first up-market car in a short while? Is this a large-scale example of utter confusion and chaos? Tata Nano Update- Exide batteries to find application on the car

Exide, a very reputed and India’s largest lead acid storage battery manufacturer, has claimed that they would provide battery solutions for the upcoming small car. Reports suggest that the Kolkata-based company will begin commercial supply of batteries for the world’s cheapest car at the Indian automaker’s Pantnagar facility in Uttarakhand, where the first batch of Nanos will roll out from.

While the whole range of Fiat models and few chips of Tata Indica Vista is been outsourced from this plant, it is now reported that the all new Tata Indigo would roll out completely from Ranjangaon. As mentioned earlier it is believed that The new indigo will get a 1.4-litre 16 valve twin cam Fiat petrol engine and a 90HP Fiat’s Quadrajet motor which comes in the Linea.
