After its Indian debut, Honda is planning to launch its new generation City in Pakistan. As it can be seen from these pictures, Honda is doing final tests runs in the city.
The new Honda City is rumored to debut at 1,300,000 PKR before the end of this month.
Honda City is already here which comes at a price tag of 9 lakhs and is loaded with features but those which we dearly miss are the alloy wheels which is offered in Thailand.
The next generation 2011 Porsche 911, the 998, was caught road-testing on German public roads. At first glance, it looks very much like the current generation 997 model range but Porsche purists who claim that this is sure to be the next generation 911 also say that this car is likely to re-write the 911 design code. The new 998 version of the car, secretly called ‘project 991′, hints that this will feature a few radical departures from the 911′s classical lineage.
The facelifted Mahindra Scorpio has been photographed without any camouflage. The changes are purely cosmetic and the biggest change and a surprising move is the 2.6 CRDe engine will be no longer produced and the mHawk engine will be the lone motor across the Scorpio’s range. The SUV should be launched within a few months time.
The Tata Indicruz based on the Indica Vista platform will go on sale hopefully by the end of this year in India. It has been spotted testing for well over a year now. Tata has driven thousands of miles in many continents on their latest cars- both the Indica Vista and the Indicruz, to analyze and understand their cars better, much before their entry into the market. Another derivative of the Indica Vista, the Indigo sedan we are told, will arrive at dealer showrooms by the end of June 2009.
We really didn’t bother talking much about the refreshed Innova on Indian Autos Blog as we felt it was unnecessary to give front row importance to a car with new bumpers and wheels. The Innova is the most comfortable car in India, we agree, but the new Innova is the least exciting we must say.
The refreshed Toyota Innova gets a new grille, bumpers, wheels and slightly different interiors. The car is already on sale in markets such as Indonesia and the engine and gearbox remain same. Dual A.C vents debut on this model and so does the suspension (shock absorbers have changed), for the improvement of ride quality.
Only after the launch later tomorrow, will we know of any India-specific changes. The seat fabric is likely to be changed, and probably more colors will be offered.
The iconic VW Beetle does not need any introduction even if you live in a country that’s little known for cars. It is one of the biggest success stories ever to be recorded in the history of Automobiles, reincarnated in 1998 directing many manufacturers to look back into their earlier cars for future plans.
The newly launched Tata Indica Vista will take part in the demonstration program in Norway which is scheduled sometime during this year and the next.
The Electric Tata Indica Vista will employ a drive train sourced from Canadian company TM4. It will give the car 80 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. This motor is the latest from TM4′s line with the highest possible efficiency the company has reached.
