More trouble has just arrived for conventional cars in the form of ‘The Troublemaker‘ a.k.a. FM-4, a.k.a. ‘Fully Mechanical- 4 people‘. After Solar power, Wind Power, Hydrogen power, Electric Power, Hybrid Power and Fuel Cell, Human Power (Flintstones Technology!) seems to have been the latest exploit. The FM-4 is a human powered “car”(not sure if its a car) that has been built by a company called HumanCar, Inc, Oregon. It is a four-seater where Two face backwards and two face forwards.

The car has a six-speed transmission and to get the car moving the occupants have to move their arms and upper body.The speed depends on the human(occupant) power. As per the video, the FM-4 hits a whopping 60 mph, which is dangerously fast for a mobile gym!!

If you buy one of these, you can probably discontinue your gym membership and work-out on the way to your office(saves time too!!).  Also shown in the video is another model with a solar roof that costs $15,000!!!! Cheque-book anyone?
