    If i correctly recognize the first one as being in Leptis Magna (Libia) i was there in 2006.
    It is even better than Pompei (near Neaples, Italy).
    Pompei give you the idea of a city center, and about the interior of the roman houses and shops but Leptis Magna, in its vastness give you an idea of a full roman city. It was quite an important city and was even the birthplace of one of the roman emperor Septimius Severus (the first one born in Africa).
