Regarding traffic issues /congestion/parking /the millions-of-cars lamenting etc..
The SOLUTION is very simple. Hand over the inefficient infrastructure development to the TATAs.
The inefficient bureaucrats and poor city planners need to be done away with, cause even though its their responsibility to provide and plan for its citizens , they suck at it.
hand over all planning and execution of infrastructure to TATAs engineers. leave them alone for a few months and youd have super cheap highways and probably cute efficient nano-highways that will also make money! Instead of everbody bitching like its Nanos problem, its the govt’s job to provide that for its people.That needs to be overhauled.

Imagine -If the world had to STOP business,inventions, science,competition or envisioning and coming out with creative products due to- shortcomings of GOVTs duties.
We’d be writing on parched paper, no vaccines, and the ride would be a camel not the NANO.

Point being, if 2 lanes of a major highway are at full capacity,
A New highway is built OR the existing one is broadened OR imaginatively planned and creatively enhanced.
People don’t start driving bullock carts to slow down the speed of the highway (read progress).
That’s the way, a modern country and its govt should work, function and do.
Instead of bitching and moaning about space and limitations, pressure and squeeze should be put on politicians to provide
Or be replaced with whoever can do the job.So that India accelerates in its momentum.

hmmm ya i completely agree… Tata’s are making Indian ppl proud.. But still there are a lot areas to be improved.. hope they fill in all these gaps very soon..

i think Tata have used the strength, engineering strength in particular, and more importantly, the power of youth, to instill life in the Nano..I believe that the average age of the team of 500 which worked on the Nano, was less than 30..

Tata’s are great, our engineers are competent. Is there some other industrialists watching and planning to exploit our capabilities so effeciently.

hmmm yeah.. but the improvement is clearly seen.. jus chk de new Tata sumo.. definitely there is a big leap in improvement in respect to quality.. so lookin at this there a definite green signal from the tata’s..

Yeah I very well agree there’s lots o improvements,no doubt…But the Indian auto industry is undergoin drastic revolutions n the Tatas need to improve their customer service n the cabin interior areas to throw up a good competence!

The quality of the tata cars is improving dude.. if you get a sneek into the 2000′s Indica it was like a piece of shit.. the quality of the car was really bad.. and jus see how the car has improved over years.. Tata is making constant efforts to improve the Brand name TATA.. and by taking over JLR Tata has got a very big engineering support.. so very soon you will find a new image for the Tata cars..

Mr. Ram might be right, but then things have improved over the past few years..we now know that Fiat will be distributing the Nano all over the world, so Tata should have taken care of the reliability part..
